CIfED (Creative Initiative for Enterprise Development) is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of vulnerable communities in Uganda, particularly women and children. We work with these communities to promote sustainable livelihoods, enhance food security, and protect the environment.

MITIGATING CLIMATE CHANGE
Our initiatives focus on sustainable practices such as Collaborative Forestry Management, Establishment of Tree Seedlings Nursery, Water for Production, and Agro Forestry. By actively involving communities in tree planting, we aim to combat land degradation and promote climate resilience.
LIVELIHOOD ENHANCEMENT
Under this theme, CIfED empowers communities for socio-economic security through Enterprise Development, Bulk Marketing, Apiculture, and the promotion of clean cooking energy. By organizing farmers into Rural Producer Organizations (RPOs) and facilitating access to markets, we foster sustainability and financial inclusion.
